Trafalgar Parade and Service
Il 21 ottobre (o il sabato più prossimo) una marcia su Trafalgar Square ricorda la vittoria di Nelson nel 1805. Corone di fiori vengono poste ai piedi della colonna dedicata all'ammiraglio al centro della piazza.
One of England's greatest heroes is Admiral Lord Nelson who won numerous splendid naval victories during the 19th century. The finest of these, the Battle of Trafalgar where the combined Spanish and French fleets were utterly routed, proved to be his last.
While numerous celebratory toasts and suppers are being held at sea, hundreds of sea cadets march to Trafalgar Square for to lay a wreath at the foot of Nelson's Column.
